Learning Log #8

On the first lesson, we did not learn anything as we were told to rehearse on our play. As this is our first time rehearsing, we acted with the help of the script. The director, Yi Cong, took down some notes of our performance. Then, he briefs us on our acting skills. Most of us did not project out our voice. That is why our performance not that good. But I am sure there is room for improvement.
On the second lesson, Mr Chua instructed us to do an essay. The title is “How does irony in 'Singapore River' help us to understand its theme?” I tried my best to answer the question by writing an essay. I did not understand what the question wants but when I flip through the notes I found that the essay is quite easy. After the test, I heaved a sigh of relief and hoping to get at least a pass.
